The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is full of hundreds of rare cars, including priceless one-off’s dating back to 1886. If you are ever in the Netherlands, it is well worth the trip and entry price to visit. There is something to excite every kind of enthusiast, but this 2000GT in the foyer was my favorite. Photos within. Hat tip to Duurtlang for recommending the museum when I asked for things to do on my trip.

Very nearly. The museum staff were nearby and would not have been amused, though.

Great photo’s! I love the fact this is just sitting in the foyer, so you can get as close as you want. Did they still have the Tatra in the foyer too?

I think I’ve seen this particular 2000GT three times in person, and every time it amazes me how beautiful it looks, and how extremely small it is.

A time trial rally went through StLouis, last year and a japaneese team entered a 2000GT and a Skyline GTR of similar vintage it was the most exciting cars to see. Even all stickered up. They even had a R33 (I think) support car.

The eariler Lucas post I just knew it was a 2000GT car.

I live near it, and while it is a lovely collection, the museum is staid and clinical....not inviting at all....dare I say Boring?

Racing section is nice car wise though

There aren’t many cars that are this timelessly beautiful, and even less of them are Japanese.

Yeah it did seem a little sterile in places... there’s really no sense of motion with a lot of the cars - just white walls behind them with the occasional banner. The ground floor was a bit better - there were a few more displays with large historic prints of the cars in action mounted on the wall behind them that helped make it more exciting. But the cars were great - a lot of stuff I won’t get to see again unless I make it to Goodwood or Pebble Beach at some point.
